The city of Balneário Camboriú, located on the northern coast of Santa Catarina, has earned the title of the city with the highest square meter appreciation, according to a survey that evaluates 50 cities in the country. The new FipeZap index has been released, and the city now ranks first. It's worth noting that up until September 2021, Balneário Camboriú held the fourth position in the FipeZap ranking. In December, it moved up to the third spot for the first time, surpassing Brasília. And now, in March 2022, it has moved into the second position, very close to the real estate appreciation of the country's commercial heart, São Paulo.

The city has witnessed substantial investments, such as the recent expansion of the waterfront, which has already had an impact on property values. "Furthermore, the construction industry has been growing exponentially in recent years, positioning Balneário Camboriú as a destination for major investments. What's more, we are increasingly attracting a new profile of investor and opening up to foreign capital," it emphasizes.
